Hill & Associates Consulting Ltd. is an incorporated company set up in June of 2009 by its single proprietor David Hill. Taking advantage of more than thirty years of regulatory (ERCB) and conflict resolution experience, he provides services to assist parties in energy related engagements.Experience and knowledge of both technical and relational aspects of the upstream energy industry put him in a unique position to provide assistance to a variety of clients in the form of advising, facilitating, and negotiating, and training.

Educated in chemistry and metallurgy at the University of British Columbia and BCIT, and a certificate in conflict management from the Alberta Arbitration and Mediation Society create a well regarded foundation for this work.

David served as a staff member of the ERCB (now the Alberta Energy Regulator) for 29 years in a variety of both technical and conflict management capacities. Instructing and training has also been an integral part of his experience, including ten years as an instructor for SAIT’s Petroleum Engineering Certificate program.
